Our next topic is Favorite Southern Desserts. These may not all have originated in the American South, but they are frequently known as Southern foods or have Southern variations that we’ll be voting on. For people who may not know each of these, I’ve included descriptions of each dessert.
When seeding the bracket this time, I tried to balance everything, spreading out each type of dessert across the four divisions, so each type — pies, cakes, chocolate, fruit, etc. — is intermingled and has as much chance as any other. Overall preferences should come to the surface after a couple rounds.
