Today we begin voting on our favorite breakfast cereals. Because there are so many, I decided to omit hot cereals — they will need their own brackets, like when the weather gets colder — and only focus on cold cereals that are still available today. Limited-time-only special flavors were also skipped, and we still had more than 64. I had to go with the most popular ones that fit my division categories.
The four brackets are:
- Chocolatey / Fruity (yes, both in one division — that’s what worked out)
- Sweetened (basically plain cereal with sweeteners, like Corn Pops or Frosted Flakes)
- Flavored Sweetened (sweetened, but with a flavor added like honey or cinnamon or peanut butter)
- Unsweetened
The CrowdSignal website was cropping my images, so I ended up using Google Forms to create the survey. The deadline is Thursday night, September 5. Friday morning will begin Round Two.
