- Alvin & The Chipmunks beat Peabody’s Improbably History by only 2 votes
- Pinky and the Brain beat Chip & Dale’s Rescue Rangers by only 1 vote
- Dexter’s Laboratory beat Rugrats by just 6 votes
As expected, a couple of the cartoons won by very large margins:
- Looney Tunes beat Rocky & Bullwinkle – 71 to 18
- Jetsons beat Space Ghost – 71 to 18
- Flintstones beat Laff-A-Lympics – 70 to 18
