Our next topic is Favorite Gemstones. We ran this back in the summer of 2020. It was our 26th voting topic, and we’ve just finished #124. Time to do it again!
I’ve tried to use the most standard color for each one. Using only one color per gemstone allows for more types to be considered (e.g., rather than including garnets in three different colors, etc.), so I’ve generally tried to follow that without getting overly picky about differences, relations, and mineral contents, although I’ve tried to keep it to natural gemstone instead of man-made. The brackets are organized by these basic colors. Last time they progressed generally from light to dark within each color. This time I’ve spread them around more within each general color group.
