Tim Curry was an amazing actor who passed away a few weeks ago, on 25 August 2026, at the age of 80. Between movies, TV shows, and theatrical productions, he had more than 250 credits to his name.
Following his death, The New York Times praised Curry’s “gift for garish eccentricity” while also noting that he was a “favorite in roles calling for expressive villainy or general cartoonishness”. CNN called Curry a “massively popular cult figure” for his roles across a variety of genres. Rolling Stone also called Curry a “genuine pop-culture icon” who had “assured a place in cinema-history books”. – Wikipedia
