We’re down to the top eight favorite Schoolhouse Rock episodes! There was one big surprise (to me, anyway) in the Sweet Sixteen:
Interjections! beat The Preamble by one vote! I know many of us know the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution because of this episode, and we usually sing it in our heads if we need to recite it. But Interjections! took an early lead in the Sweet Sixteen round. The Preamble rallied at the end of the day yesterday, but not quite enough to beat Interjections!.
I’m Just a Bill won solidly, but not by 100% of the vote this time. Rufus Xavier Sarsparilla got 3 votes. Those are the first 3 votes that I’m Just a Bill lost. 🙂
Conjunction Junction won against I’m Gonna Send Your Vote to College, which only got 4 votes.
A Noun Is a Person, Place, or Thing beat Elementary, My Dear, which only got 5 votes.
Interestingly, 5 of the 8 remaining episodes are from Grammar Rock, and it’s possible that they could be all of the Final Four (except I’m Just a Bill would have to get upset).
